A member asked:

I am 17 and my height is 5.3 inches...so do i have changes to increase more height?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In general, a well: ...nourished female will reach final adult height about two years or so after starting menstrual periods. 5'3 is "petite" but still a healthy and normal height. I know of many "tiny but mighty" women, including Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl who champions education for girls. With luck and hard work, you too could be one of those "tiny but mighty" girls. Namaste! Dr. Anne.
