H pylori: Studies show that the standard regimen of clarithromycin or amoxicillin with anti acid medicines is the most effective. Now if you failed the first regimen then levofloxacin is a good second choice although there is rising bacterial resistance to the family of medicines that levofloxacin belongs to.
