Constipation: If you have a strong urge to have a bowel movement and can't, work from below. Try inserting a glycerin rectal suppository. If not successful, insert a dulcolax rectal suppository or a fleets enema. If no urge to go, take another laxative orally such as dulcolax or mirilax. In stubborn cases manual disimpaction is used. See your MD if still in distress.
