I currently have the flu, and developed a strange itchy rash on the middle of my chest, what could cause this?

Mgt: Viral illnesses may be associated with a rash. Other causes include allergy reactions, for example to medication. If there are blisters, open sores or discharge, bleeding, please see your PCP. I would advise taking an anti histamine, but if it persists please be seen.
