Breastfeeding. i've had a sharp pain in one breast for a few days. stays in the same spot. doesn't feel engorged. between and during feeding. concern?

A few things...: It could be a clogged duct - try soaking the area with warm compresses and massaging the area. Shooting pain can also possibly related to yeast. If the nipple is red and also hurting those are more signs of yeast. Can also look to see if baby has signs of thrush (yeast in baby's mouth) which would be a whitish coating on tongue. Pain can also be from a latch problem on one side. See doctor.
