Eye bruise: Concern for blood in or around the eyeball or globe really depends on what part of the eye is involved. If the bruise in on the white part of the globe or sclera, it isn't a big problem. However, if there is blood behind the clear part of the eye or cornea, it should be seen by an ophthalmologist right away. Also, if there are any vision problems, he should be evaluated right away.
