Yes.: Late period and one sided pelvic pain can be from many conditions, the most worrisome of them being what we call ectopic pregnancy or tubal pregnancy. This can happen if you are sexually active and not using birth control. The pregnancy test can at times be negative in this case. Please go see a doctor to find and treat the cause.

Yes.: It is not uncommon for women to occasionally have their period come late, early, or not at all, due to several factors. If your last sex was at least 2weeks prior to urine pregnancy test, then it should be accurate. Otherwise you should repeat test. Try ibuprofen or naproxen for pain. If pain persists, see clinician for exam and possible ultrasound to rule our an ovarian cyst. Take Care!
