May be related to: use of Plan B. Emergency contraception symptoms can include spotting or bleeding, changes in menstrual flow or your period may be late or early. Take a home pregnancy test & notify your GYN if your period is 7 or > days late.

When in doubt: just check pregnancy test. And if you are late and first pregnancy test was negative, check it again in 1 week. If you have two negatives then you can be rest assured. Most likely your hormones are in flux now and you have spotting. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
