Yes.: If awful symptoms mean urgent symptoms then the emergency room can help make you feel better and get rid of these awful symptoms. They can do some tests directly related to the symptoms and determine why you are feeling awful. If your doctor's office is open though, you should see him first if you can and not so ill to see him. He can help.
