A member asked:

Is triangular shape of gestational sac normal?

It depends: The triangular shape is made by the uterine cavity, so depending on the angle of the ultrasound shot, it is possible for the sac to appear triangular in shape. This is to be distinguished from an 'irregular' shaped sac which invariable suggests a poor outcome for the embryo.
