Infection?: Any new discharge, whether bloody or not, especially when accompanied by other symptoms, could be due to an infection (sometimes pregnancy). Get checked to be sure, if you have had unprotected sex. IF you haven't, and it continues for more than a few days, get checked, there are other infections that are not transmitted by sex. But, if it gets worse, and you have fever or abdominal pain, go to ER
