Clean very gently: The wound can be cleaned very gently with some disinfectant or even with a clean gauze and water, then dressed with Bacitracin or neosporin if it's outside the mouth. If it's the inner side of the lip in the mouth, warm salt water rinses and antiseptic mouth rinse should work assuming it's not a puncture wound or deep enough to require stitches.
