A member asked:

Is there something physical inside the testicle, before a cancer lump appears?

Yes: The testis is composed of soft tissue that is a sperm factory 24 hrs a day . The sperm migrate along some highly refined tubules and wait for ejucalation to be shot out of the cannon. A lump would be close to this testis tissue and usually not painful.
