Hi. i have a running stomach and the dr gave me pills to stop diarhoe they dont help cause my stool is still loose with food particles on it?

Diarrhea: if persistent diarrhea, would ask for cultures of diarrhea . Some may not go away unless treated with antibiotics (camphylobacter-, or c diff or h pylori .) Also consider probiotic as diarrhea changes the flora of intestines. Keep hydrated as dehydration is a problem. F/U w/ doc/ urgent care unless due to chemotherapy , autoimmune diarrhea should be over in 1-6 days. or there is a problem.
