Xanax (alprazolam) effects: I understand your distress. Xanax is for treatment of Anxiety. I may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or abdominal distress. Xanax 0.25 mg is a small dose for moderate Anxiety. Anxiety can be due to stresses of relationship, marriage, separation, work and finances for which Therapy will benefit you, see a Psychiatrist. See a Physician if symptoms continue. Do Breathing and Music Relaxation.
