No: Most infections like your describe are viral. Antibiotics won't help.

Congestion: If the infection is viral (which many are) than an antibiotic would not be indicated.

Not recommended: Acute viral sinusitis does not benefit from antibiotics, but may be treated using decongestants or st or salt water irrigation.
