When in doubt: just check pregnancy test. And if you are still late and first pregnancy test was negative, check it again in 1 week. If you have two negatives then you can be assured that you are fine and would need to monitor for irregular menstruation, which could mean visiting the GYN or family physician for birth control counseling.
