Random pain in naval. initially hurt to touch. sometimes it hurts naval to breath. period starts in a few days, not sure if related. help?

Several possibilitie: cannot say in your particular case, but generally, but the association with periods implies either there is just the usual period pain but with an odd perception of it (pain can throb and radiate oddly, not much can be permanently done but nerve pills like amitryptiline MIGHT help) Or it might be endometriosis OR residual fetal connections with a serious infectious problem like an appendicitis.
