Birth control: Depending on when you received the first Depo shot, The levels of hormone from the Depo shot may have cleared from your body before the 90 days or next Depo shot is due. If the minimal vaginal bleeding has stopped, you can receive the next Depo injection as scheduled. If you have a normal period w/bleeding and cramping, you may need to get the Depo shot sooner than every 90 days.
