Timing: Ovulation usually occurs about 14 days prior to next anticipated period. To optimize chances of pregnancy can have sex beginning several days before ovulation, at time of ovulation up to a couple of days after. However, if you don't wish to become pregnant - you may be at risk & should use protection.
