My mom says i began walking at 19 months, is there an underlying cause for this? it's safe to say that i do have mental health issues now

Slow development: Sometimes slow development in walking indicates a condition which requires treatment. However timelines are broader than you think and as long as your motor skills are normal now your development was appropriate even though the milestones were late. Muscle tone, temperament, weight distribution all influence when a baby walks. Genetic or neurologic disorders sometimes must be ruled out.

Mental Health: I understand your concern about “mental health issues now” Waling at 19 months was a milestone, prior to that, you developed milestones of sitting, crawling standing; then you developed speech, talking, thinking, and relationships. Mental health issues are due to many stressors and your coping/lack of coping. Focus on mental health with, logical reasoning and problem solving. See a Psychiatrist.
