Depression: I understand your concern about Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) Knowing “Fat is wrong from a young age” is not a sign of BDD. BDD is a body-image disorder with persistent and intrusive preoccupations with an imagined or slight defect in one's appearance. Being overweight and having low self-esteem indicate Depression Respect yourself, commend yourself for daily accomplishments See a Psychiatrist.

Body image: Good to question if you have a problem with body self-image. I don't know if you have Body Dysmorphic Disorder either, but if you are unhappy with self-esteem issues, see a mental health professional for guidance.
