Allergic reaction: to some chemicals is probably the cause if it came on suddenly. Use low sterength corticosteroid cream or ointment twice a day. Also use neutral and fragrance free soaps. If it does not improve in a week see your doctor because a lot of things can do this includint psoriasis.

Itching palms: It could be contacted dermatitis or scabies or hand foot and mouth disease.. Can try antihistamine and steroid cream but please see your doctor to confirm the diagnosis .
