Irregular periods.. what's the best way to go about it? since the age of 16 i am lucky if i have 2 periods a year? what could be the problem?

Get checked.: First see your doctor. A history will be taken and a physical exam will be done. Then based on both, testing may be indicated, including testing for anemia, and thyroid function. Treatment will depend on what all this shows.
