A member asked:

I've just been told i have a 7cm ovarian cyst with nodules sitting behind uterus. i need ca125, hcg, afp, ldh tests and surgery. should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your doctor will gui: The doctor who has ordered your tests suspects that you might have Cancer of the Ovary showing as a Cyst. But we need to have all the tests done, particularly CA125 before we can get any certain idea. A high CA -125 level is common in most cases with cancer of the ovary. But it can sometimes be high for other benign conditions but the elevation is more modest in those other conditions.
