Yes: It is not unusual to get a yeast infection when taking certain antibiotics because they kill of some of the "good bacteria" in the vagina and cause an overgrowth of yeast. If it is particularly uncomfortable, ask your doctor for Flucanozole tabs. These are easier to take than the vaginal insert when on your menses.
