Keep your regularly: ...scheduled OB appointment. If the discharge turns bloody, profuse and/or you get pelvic pain or uterine contractions, see your doctor immediately. Fortunately, vaginal secretions that are tinged with "old blood" aren't uncommon in the first trimester and usually don't indicate anything serious. However, it's best to be on the safe side since 2 lives are at stake here.
