YES. There are some: ...prescription medications that may help and you're absolutely right, they must be taken in advance. Dramamine, (dimenhydrinate) which is OTC, is easier to obtain. Eating small, easily digested meals before & during travel may help as well. Avoid alcohol and resist the temptation to read, text or surf the WEB during your travels. Drivers of cars are less prone to motion sickness than passengers.
