Probably not: b/c the surgery is already set and it is more difficult to remove just a part of the ovary. However, you can tell your doctor that you want more children, or desire the hormonal effect of the remaining ovary, and ask if there is any way that some tissue can be spared via his/her expertise. Make it a challenge. If the cyst HAPPENS to be in the tube alone, it is possible to remove just the tube.
