Hello doctor , why hp (hypersensitivity pneumonitis)less in smoker than non smokers ?

Unaware of: I am not aware of such an association. Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP) is induced by exposure to a specific agent but only certain susceptible individuals would get it. Smoking is bad for everyone and I am not aware that it protects against HP.
