Zolpidem,"Belsomra"]: Belsomra hit the market less than a year ago. I am wary of psychoactive drugs of a new class which have not been extensively studied. I despise drug companies overpricing their meds like this one (>$270 for 30 tabs), with coupons. The FDA will OK a new drug for study, but will rely on people reporting bad side effects not originally listed--sometimes so severe the drug will be withdrawn.

Not sure there is a: way. The use of ambien (zolpidem) may not continue if you develop tolerance. You might ask your doc if the dose is right. You have not mentioned your dose, it can be taken up to 10 mg at bedtime. There is not much cross tolerance with klonopin but actually may be additive effects. Would not suggest taking them together if not needed. Try the belsomra at the max dose prior to giving up. Ask your doc
