Not sure what you: meant that you had sex 'for the first time' ever and without protection, or you had sex 'for the first time without protection'. If the first scenario holds true, then you probably bled due to rupture of your hymen and bleeding from first time trauma to the vaginal vault/cervix. If it wasn't your first time ever, then you may have some spotting from your cycle which could be approaching.
