Painful bumps: Painful bumps are often due to ingrown hairs, infected cysts, folliculitis (inflamed hair follicles) & even abscesses (pus pockets). Unabsorbed suture material can also lead to painful bumps. You didn't mention how long ago you had your C-section. If relatively recent, see your OB as you might be describing infection of incision/cut. If not recent, see FamilyDoc for evaluation. Don't wait or delay
