.: For a 6 year old to have blood in stool. Many reasons. Most common is constipation with fissure. This will be with painful, hard stool with blood coated on stool. Make sure she is putting in weight and not allergic to any food.

Blood: Good question. There shouldn't be. First is it blood? Is it brite red. There are hemoocult tests to identify blood. 2) could it be a dye-red from food, candy? 3 ) could she have parasites, be constipated, causing tears in rectum- fissures. Simply consult her dr.For rectal inspection, possibly stool analysis, hemoocult test. Otherwise, this is pure speculation. Do right thing her mother or you sho.
