What would veins in the stomach look like in cirrhosis? mine are not bulging but you can see the blue veins. i was told 2 yes ago i had fatty liver

It's complicated: generally you wouldn't see the veins so there is blood backing up from the liver. Fatty liver occurs commonly and does not necessarily mean anything. Most commonly it is connected to intake of things that become fat (including alcohol). Veins become increasingly bulging.
