Hurting throat: Greetings. The throat pain should be evaluated by an ENT doc. Not sure if you have voice changes or swallowing difficulty but an endoscopic evaluation is probably a good idea . Reduce the acid in your diet, sleep with your head elevated, avoid eating before bed, lose weight and stoppage of smoking may help.
