Sleep: Is abdominal pain keeping you awake? If yes, then would seek medical eval. Don't know the particulars about your insomnia as there are different types. Recommend working on good sleep hygiene. Melatonin is an option if sleep hygiene alone doesn't do the trick. If these don't work - seek medical care. Be well.

Possibly: Do you have a sleep hygiene schedule? Is this typical, or newly developed. Anxiety , including racing thoughts, could possibly be contributing to sleep difficulties and may also be the cause of abdominal pain. Not eating or drinking for a few hours before sleep is also important, as is not engaging with electronic devices prior to sleep as they stimulate rather than relax your mind.

Eval/sleep hygiene: Consult with primary re: abdominal pain and insomnia. Meanwhile practice sleep hygiene: keep you room a little on a chilly side, warm shower before bed, bedtime routine: no tv, or anything stimulating, no heavy meals. If you can't fall asleep, get out of bed and do something really boring until you feel sleepy and then go back to bed. Go to bed and wake up at the same time.

Get a sleep study : Stress can cause insomnia and digestive problems but snoring and sleep apnea can also be to blame. If your difficulty is initiating sleep, give yourself 30 minutes before entering the bed to wind down and clear your mind. If you are waking up in the middle of the night with difficulty falling back to sleep for over 2 weeks, you may need a sleep study to check for sleep apnea.
