Is there any safe way to check for bowel obstruction in a 25week pregnant woman?

Varies: Clinical exam and a single X-ray known as a kub will usually be adequate and reasonably safe to determine if it is likely that you have an obstruction. Non radiation alternatives would include an ultrasound or an MRI; but a single X-ray is reasonably safe in light of complications associated with a missed obstruction.
