Nothing: Are you pregnant? if not, the consistency of your cervix is not a major issue. Cramps occur at the time of your period and can be managed with medications such as ibuprofen. If the cervix hardening or painful cramps are bothersome, see your GYN for an evaluation and treatment recommendation Regards Dr M
