Do areolas typically darken with age? over the past few days they've been sore and darkening&pretty sure not pregnant. 2wks until next period.

Age/pregnancy: nipples may darken during pregnancy and sometimes with age. Do a home pregnancy test.

Get a pregnancy: test now. If negative, wait a week, then check another pregnancy test. If negative again, wait another week, check another pregnancy test. Don't convince yourself that you are not pregnant until you have had 3 negatives in 3 weeks and your period has returned. Areolas should not change color much, but they do "shrink" with age. They will enlarge and look more robust with pregnancy.
