Splint pain meds : Clavicle fractures are very common. Usually a figure of 8 splint is sufficient for 7-10 days for a 1 year old. Use pain meds (tylenol, etc) as necessary. There should be no negative effects, no matter what the angle looks like on the xray. It will remodel as he grows.
