Does hemorrhoid cream truly help acne?

Yes, possibly: Hemorrhoid creams usually decrease inflammation and swelling If the acne is the type that is red with large pimples and swelling around them then it the cream would help with the swelling It does not kill bacteria on the skin like other combination acne creams and does not dry the skin like benzoyl peroxide

From Piles To Smiles: It makes small vessels constrict so blood flow is decreased and therefore the skin is less red. Smoking 10 high-nicotine cigarettes in a row will do about the same thing (don't try that at home, unless you live within one block of a hospital). So, yes, maybe, temporarily it will "help," if that's what you want to call it. But will do nothing to "help" get rid of the primary cause(s) of the acne.

NO: Why fool around when there are very effective treatments available? For adult women the easiest and best treatment is usually oral spironolactone.
