I am 18, 150 lbs and 5'4". 2 weeks ago i increased my prozac (fluoxetine) dosage up to 20mg. i am having terrible night sweats every night. could this be why?

Prozac (fluoxetine): The night sweats could be from the Prozac (fluoxetine) but you could also have other reasons. See your doctor to sort out. You may need a different antidepressant.

Possible: I understand your night sweats began with increase of Prozac (fluoxetine) to 20 mg ( up from ? mg). Speak to prescribing doctor and try cutting back dose to 10 mg or even stopping gradually. If night sweats decrease or disappear, you know they were a rare but real side effect of Prozac (fluoxetine). If night sweats persist, see your pcp to evaluate. I hope this helps.
