Throat Pain: Greetings. The tongue/throat pain you are describing should be evaluated. @ 3 weeks, one would think it should be resolving. Questions that come to my mind would be, do you smoke or drink alcohol? Do you have uncontrolled reflux? Family history of cancer? I'd obviously love to examine you to see what is there. See your ENT Doctor. Motrin 200 mg tabs. 3-4 3x/day X 10 days with food could help.
