Many possibilities: Lower abdominal pain with cough can be many things, but if accompanied by heavy bleeding, one big concern is miscarriage, or possibly ectopic pregnancy, which can be very serious. An examination by a doctor can evaluate you for other causes too - such as appendicitis, colitis, bladder infection, hernia. Do a pregnancy test, or just see the doctor right away for an evaluation.
