Cracking: Cracking can come from the motion of joints; snapping sounds can emanate from motions of ligaments and tendons. If there is no associated pain or deformities, I am of the opinion that these sounds are not significant. If you have further concerns, consult a rheumatologist or orthopedic specialist for evaluation and reassurance.
