Can smoking pot cause asthma?

COPD: Not asthma, but smoking anything can lead to COPD (bronchitis or emphysema). Unfortunately, this is worse than asthma because asthma is reversible, but COPD is chronic. Be smart...Don't put anything in your lungs!

Not cause/trigger: Smoking of any product can trigger asthma in someone with the genetic tendency. It is an airway irritant. Chlorine gas can make anyone wheeze during exposure but those without asthma will stop wheezing sooner. If you have the genetics for asthma, you should enjoy your cannabis via a different route, or just live with the balancing act of treating the consequences.

Can trigger asthma: attack but does not cause asthma. Smoking pot does pose numerous health hazards.
