Need an exam: Symptoms suggest the possibility that something in the pelvic area pressing on your sigmoid colon. There are a number of possible causes, including Endometriosis. The first step is to have a pelvic exam, preferably after you have relieved yourself of any constipation. Your physician will likely order a pelvic ultrasound. It may well turn out to be nothing serious....but best to be checked.
