How high?: High prolactin by itself does not cause weight gain but in some cases requires treatment, especially if due to a pituitary tumor. I need to know how high your prolactin was and whether you are taking any meds for behavioral issues such is Risperdal which could raise your prolactin level as high as about 50 ng/ml.
