Scar treatment: Unfortunately there is no way of reversing a scar back to normal skin. However, there are surgical procedures, such as scar revision, that can be done by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon that can improve the appearance of the scar to a great extent.

Scar: I agree with dr. Altman. A scar is a nidus of inflammation. Scar deactivation with or without electrical stimulation or scar injections (homeopathic with saline) can help reduce adhesions, improve range of motion and reduce inflammation/ sxs- but it will not remove the scar.
